The

The
wine, perhaps the most prominent symbol of the Mediterranean culture, is also
one of the values that identify the Costa Daurada, both for the extensive area
of the territory covered by vineyards and for the uniqueness of its products.
With six Dos ( designations of origin) for wine and a large part of its
territory included in the designation of origin for cava, the Costa Daurada has
an outstanding variety of vineyard scenery. The almost centenarian wines on the
hillsides and terraces of the Priorat and the Serra del Montsant make up an
austere landscape that contrasts sharply with the plains of the Camp de
Tarragona and the Penedès region. The more mountainous terrain of the Terra
Alta and part of the Conca de Barberà add even further diversity to the variety
of possible landscapes. It is an agricultural mosaic shared with other
traditional Mediterranean crops such as olives, cereals, almonds, and
hazelnuts. Traditional Mediterranean aromas and flavours are the essence of
Costa Daurada's cuisine. The region's wealth of fresh, quality seafood and
produce has given rise to an endless array of delectable dishes. Discerning
palates will want to sample the roasted calçots (a local variety of spring
onion) in March, the wild boar stew in winter and the rossejat de fideus (a
noodle paella) any time of year, as well as the region's world-famous xató (a
cod salad served over curly endive) and Reus's stellar take on blancmange.

Marqués de Arviza Winery
Marqués de Arviza is located in High Rioja.
The premises began as a cellar in 1874, therefore is among the most ancients ones in Rioja.
It was built over the primitive cellars and tunnels of the 16th and 17th centuries that run as deep as twelve underground metres.
The building has recently being restored maintaining its architectural heritage and is now a fully functional winery where our wines are aged with the best dampness and temperature conditions. “Come in and you will be travelling in the past”.

Pago de Carraovejas
Pago de Carraovejas
All our tours begin with a tour of our excepcional panoramic
balconies and terraces.
From there we will know the work carried out in the vineyard
throughout the natural cycle of the vine. Then in the winery we will follow the
steps of the grapes take over the production process, starting with the
reception area of grape entrance and continuing through the halls of stainless
steal and french oak fermentation to
reach the aging rooms, highlighting the unique sculptural room with indirect
natural light. Then we will visit the areas of bottling and bedroom facilities
to complete visiting the social area.
During the walk we will discover the origin of Pago de
Carraovejas and every one of our processes, paying particular attention to the
small details and everything that gives our wines its great personality.
Buezo Winery
In 2000, the Buezo winery Project was born in an area
of wine tradition. A team, like a family, implemented this project aiming at
producing the best wines possible from the “Paraje Valdeazadón”, in the village
of Mahamud, Burgos area. In fact, the legend tells that from this same land,
Christopher Colombus took some wines to the Americas.
After a few years of great effort, Buezo wines are now
“real” wines. First thanks to the culture of the vines and then thanks to the
brandly new and beautiful winery, we managed to make wines that make the most
of the land. The
philosophy from Buezo winery is based on the conjunction of tradition and
innovation. This only permits to make things the right way. The winery, the
installations and all the process collect all the quality of the traditions
helped with the technology. We offer the visitor to know all this first hand.

The road from the vineyard to the glass
is long and yet, throughout his life, wine will mark the vine that has
engendered: The imprint of the variety of grape from which it was developed. The
grower must consider two rules of thumb: First, find the strain that promotes
quality and not performance; then adapt cultivation methods to their personality.
This is what defines us.
David Sebastián Winery
Production is limited and fully artisan, because the grapes
are carefully selected and all bottles carry their correlative numbering as an
stamp of quality.
The harvest is done manually in boxes of 15 kilograms around
the first half of October, trying gently the grape.
The effort and daily dedication of this family project
started in 1995.
It is a delight for consumers and a pride for all the
production team.
